Frequently asked questions

1. What are the hotels offered for this trip? Can I choose the hotels myself?

The suggested hotels will be specified in the detailed itinerary. We include well-located hotels in the quote that have been well-received by our clients. You can also suggest hotels of your preference to have services to your liking; rest assured, we can offer customized services and tours.

2. Is 10 days enough to explore Thailand?

Yes, those are enough to explore the main highlights of Thailand. With a well-planned itinerary, you can experience the vibrant city life of Bangkok, the cultural richness of Chiang Mai, and the stunning beaches of Phuket or Krabi. This timeframe allows you to enjoy a mix of urban exploration, cultural sites, and relaxation by the sea. While you won’t be able to see everything, 10 days provides a substantial introduction to Thailand’s diverse attractions and experiences.

3. How do I plan a family-friendly trip for 10 days?

Planning a family-friendly itinerary for 10 days can include activities that cater to all ages:

  • Bangkok: Visit family-friendly attractions like the Safari World, SEA LIFE Bangkok Ocean World, and Lumpini Park. Explore temples and enjoy a boat ride on the Chao Phraya River.
  • Chiang Mai: Spend time at the Elephant Nature Park, visit the Night Safari, and explore the Royal Park Rajapruek. Participate in a Thai cooking class suitable for kids.
  • Phuket/Krabi: Enjoy beach activities, visit the Phuket Aquarium, and take a boat tour to nearby islands. Relax on family-friendly beaches like Kata Beach in Phuket or Ao Nang Beach in Krabi. Including a mix of educational, cultural, and fun activities ensures that everyone in the family has a memorable trip.
4. Do you offer diving or snorkeling excursions for free days on the islands?

During your free time on the island, we leave you free to relax, but we can certainly arrange excursions to the nearby small islands. These are typically group excursions with English-speaking guides/instructors. You can also inquire with the hotel about these excursions.

5. What is the level of the proposed hikes?

We engage in hikes of an easy to moderate level, lasting from 3 to 5 hours. However, the duration and difficulty of the hikes depend on your health condition. This private program can be customized on-site.

6. Are international flights included in your travel packages?

We do not include international flights in our travel packages for economic reasons. Indeed, the cost of international tickets would be more expensive if we were to arrange them from Vietnam. Although unusual, this is the pricing policy applied by airlines. Therefore, airfares tend to be cheaper if purchased from the country of departure. We can provide advice on this if needed.

7. Can we go hiking during the trip?

Yes, you can definitely go hiking in Thailand, particularly in the Chiang Mai region. This area offers travelers numerous hiking opportunities amidst its lush vegetation. For off-the-beaten-path experiences, consider visiting Mae Hong Son and Pai, which are populated by various ethnic minority groups, including the long-necked Karen people.

8. Do you have fun activities for children?

Yes, we offer several exciting activities for your children. In Bangkok, you can take bicycle or motorcycle rides through its bustling streets, take part in a Muay Thai class, or even watch a match. In Chiang Mai in the north, a visit to the elephant camps is highly recommended. You can also join a cooking class to explore the local cuisine.

In the southern islands, boat trips for snorkeling or diving are greatly loved by children.

9. What are the must-visit sites in Thailand?

Thailand attracts tourists not only for its rich and diverse culture but also for its magnificent landscapes. Begin your journey in the Central region of Thailand with Bangkok, the Thai capital where you can savor delicious dishes and experience the bustling city life. Not far from Bangkok, you'll discover the historic city of Ayutthaya, steeped in history, as well as the lush national parks in the Kanchanaburi region.

Moving up to the North, you'll visit Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai. This region offers travelers breathtaking landscapes with terraced rice fields and opportunities to meet welcoming minority ethnic groups.

The Southern region, a favorite of many travelers, is where you'll find places like Phuket, Krabi, Koh Samui, each boasting white sandy beaches, turquoise waters, and incredible underwater landscapes.

10. Do I need a visa to visit Thailand?

For tourists from the United States, Canada, the UK, Australia, and most EU countries, a Thailand Tourist Visa is issued by a Thai Embassy, Consulate, or e-visa system for tourism purposes, unlike the 60-day visa exemption (extendable by 30 days) granted on arrival. Work is not allowed.

  • Single-Entry Tourist Visa: Valid for 3 months, allows a 60-day stay (extendable by 30 days), available from Thai embassies/consulates or e-visa portal. Each person applies individually.
  • Multiple-Entry Tourist Visa: Valid for 6 months, permits multiple 60-day stays (each extendable by 30 days), obtainable through the same channels.
  • Requirements: Passport (6+ months validity), application form, photo, onward travel proof, financial proof (10,000 THB/person or 20,000 THB/family), and accommodation proof.
11. When is the best time to visit Thailand?

The best time to visit Thailand, without a doubt, is from November to April. It's Thailand's dry season, characterized by sunny days and minimal rainfall. The weather is pleasant during this period, with temperatures ranging from 28 to 34 degrees Celsius, making it ideal for sightseeing, outdoor activities, and also for a beach vacation in the beautiful southern beach resorts such as Phuket, Koh Phi Phi, Krabi, and more.
