Frequently asked questions

1. What are the Cambodian visa requirements?

For tourists from the US, Canada, UK, Australia, and most EU countries:

  • Visa on Arrival: Kindly prepare $30 USD for a 30-day stay (extendable by 30 days), available at major airports and land borders. Please bring a passport valid for 6+ months and one photo.
  • e-Visa: For your convenience, apply online at www.evisa.gov.kh for $36 USD. It’s valid for 3 months, granting a 30-day stay at key entry points. The same passport and photo requirements apply.
  • Embassy: You’re welcome to obtain it in advance for $30–$35 USD, offering a 30-day stay.
  • e-Arrival Card: Please submit this free form online at www.arrival.gov.kh within 7 days before flying into major airports.
2. When is the best time to visit Cambodia?

The dry season from mid-October to April is the best time for outings in Cambodia due to its mild air, clear blue skies, and minimal rainfall. From May to September, even though it's the rainy season, the rain typically only lasts for an hour or two a day. The rest of the day is usually sunny, and visits are still feasible.

3. Can one reach Cambodia by air?

Yes, it is entirely possible to reach Cambodia by air. You can take a flight from Ho Chi Minh (or Hanoi) to Siem Reap and spend the rest of your journey exploring the magnificent Angkorian temples.

4. What is the 'customized travel' option?

Customized travel is a service where your journey is designed according to your preferences for dates, duration of stay, services, and budget. A local advisor assists you in preparing for the trip and supports you on-site, handling transportation, visits, accommodation, and more. This ensures you benefit from an organized trip tailored to your desires and constraints down to the smallest details.

5. How can I book my trip?

If you agree with the itinerary proposed by one of our advisors, please send us an email to confirm the reservation of the tour with our agency. Your advisor will then provide you with the booking documents, including:

  • A reservation form containing detailed information about your booked tour, as well as your personal details and contact information to be completed. You will need to return the form with these details duly filled out, which will be used for the organization of your trip. Please also send us a scan of your passports.

  • A travel invoice requesting a deposit payment of 25% of the total price.

The organization of your trip will be confirmed upon receipt of the completed form and once the deposit is in our possession. We will also send you a travel contract that certifies the details of your trip, including the duration, travel dates, deposit paid, and your contact information."

6. What are the payment terms?

To make the deposit payment, you have two options:

  • Bank transfer: Our account details are provided in the travel invoice.
  • Credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) through our bank's secure website. This payment method includes insurance as part of the card services (cancellation insurance, medical coverage, repatriation, etc.). However, please note that you will incur additional fees for our bank with this option: 3% extra on the deposit if you pay with Visa or Mastercard, and 4% extra on the deposit if you pay with American Express. Payment is made in the local currency."
7. When is the deadline for booking the trip?

We do not impose a deadline for booking, but it is advisable that you book both the flight tickets and the tour as early as possible. In fact, the earlier we make the reservations, the better the services, considering that the best providers may have limited availability. Therefore, our clients often book their trips 4-6 months in advance.
