An overview of the Hue Festival 2025

Hue is hosting the National Tourism Year and Hue Festival in 2025 – a major event for Vietnam and the world. The goal is to grow tourism and the local economy, attract money, and create new things to do. It's also a chance to connect with others and promote Vietnamese tourism.

The Opening Ceremony of the National Tourism Year - Hue 2025 (March 25, 2025) will feature the art program "Love Letter of the River," followed by a spectacular fireworks display, taking place on a stage along the Perfume River, in front of Quoc Hoc High School.

The Spring Festival (January - March)

The Spring Festival, "Ancient Capital Spring," will set the stage with a vibrant lineup of imperial and traditional events, Tet cultural displays, and festive activities, all steeped in the history of ancient Hue. Notable events include the first-ever Ancient Capital Martial Arts Festival, and the important 50th anniversary of Hue's liberation…

The Summer Festival (April to June)

The Summer Festival, "The Citadel Shines," will take place from April to June, featuring highlights such as the Ao Dai Art Program and the Community Ao Dai Week. It’s a celebration of traditional beauty and culture you won’t want to miss!

Highlights include the 2025 Hue International Lantern Festival, the Lion-Unicorn-Dragon Dance Festival, the Hue Lion Dance performance, and the Mid-Autumn Street Lantern Parade. This is the perfect time to visit Hue, as it hosts the biggest and most exciting events of the year!
